Visit; Sculptures Square with 23 statues donated by the most famous artist of the city Fernando Botero and the museum of Antioquia, Paisa Town “Pueblito Paisa”, it is depiction of a typical village of the region.

The second part of the tour is to show innovation under a social function.

Visit Comuna 13, a district famous for being one of the most dangerous places not only of Colombia but probably of the whole continent. It is now a completely transformed neighborhood. A good part of it was built by the late mafia boss and it is the place that produced some of his most famous killers and hired assassins who spread terror across the whole country.

Medellin has long suffered from a bad reputation due especially extinct drug cartels. But the city has changed and is generating changing in the people. Think differently, believe in social initiatives and generate economic alternatives are some of the initiatives.

We honor those heroes, many of them anonymous that all they want is the welfare of their community.

Once in the Comuna 13 take a ride on the Metrocable. From there we can get a glimpse of the initiative of the Government titled “Techo una historia” roofs and houses painted with huge graffiti. Back to station. Learn about breakdance, graffitis. Keeping the tour to 20 Julio neighborhood to the escalators, one of the biggest projects in the city. We will walk the streets with an explanation of what happened there, how the war recrudesce this place than the others in the city.

Located just 2 hours away from Medellin, we will find El Peñol - one of the main attractions that the city and the department in general have to offer. 

This region plays an important role concerning energy generate in the country, it contribute 35% of Colombia’s electricity supply.

El Peñol and Guatapé are one of a kind destination to enjoy a delightful climate, breathtaking landscapes and a local population that is equally colorful and unique.

On the way, we can observe different vegetable crops. Eastern Antioquia is known for its agriculture. The shades of green those envelopes the landscape are remarkable, for this reason these rural towns are referred to as the food basket of the department.

We will soon arrive at Nuevo (new) Peñol, which was built in compensation for the controlled flooding of the old town; we will make a brief stop here to visit a specially constructed church. Continuing the tour will visit the depiction of the old Peñol, where we will have an opportunity to see what it was like in the old center of town.

Next, we arrive at the famous El Peñol boulder, a spectacular monolith measuring 220 meters high with a built-in 740 steps to reach the top. The view from its summit is as magical as it is grandiose. Photos here are an absolute must. Finally, we will head into Guatapé, the town of the “Zócalos”, which are hand crafted and colorfully painted wooden reliefs featured along the bases of every home in the town; they characterize this place as one of the most picturesque in the world. Here we will visit the central park, The Zócalos square and “memory lane”.

ATV off road where you will have 1 hour for adventure full of adrenaline in an all-terrain vehicle. You will be given an induction on how to drive the motorcycle and safety measures.

We´ll pick you to take the flight to Pereira. Once in this city our staff take to hotel in Alcala. Is a 45 minutes ride. Check in at hotel and relax. Free lunch and dinner.

We will go to Cocora valley where wax palms are (Ceroxylon quincense) National Colombian tree. This palm can reach a staggering height of 60 mts. hiking. Time for lunch.

Visit to Filandia, other typical town, in this place handycraft works is everywhere. Let`s check how they produce beautiful and colorful basket case. Back to hotel

This is a theme park around the coffee culture. There`s few roller custers and other atractions included in the entrances. All day is for fun in the park. For lunch, you can take any option inside the park.

Transfer from Pereira Airport to take flight to Cartagena. Check in at hotel

We will start the half day city tour to know the San Felipe Castle, the walled city and other great atractions of this human herintage. Tours start at 9 am and finish 1 pm. You can choose any option for lunch. The tour is over at hotel, so you´ll have free afternoon and night.

Transfer to local dock, you will go in a speed boat for 40 minutes away Cartagena and relax in a nice beach. Time is just for relax, swim and take a nice lunch. Back to Cartagena and transfer from dock to hotel. Free night
